Michael Clarke Duncan died Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. He was 54. According to his rep, Duncan "suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered." The imposing 6-foot-5 actor, who was engaged to Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault, first burst onto the scene in 1999, when he starred opposite Tom Hanks in Frank Darabont's The Green Mile. Duncan played John Coffee, a 1930s death-row prisoner with magical healing powers, and was nominated for an Academy Award for the remarkable performance.
